Inker · night sequences
Mateo Cruz
Mateo talks about ink density the way some people talk about weather. On a rooftop chase in a Marvel-themed NFT issue, he pulled the rain lines back so lettering could sit without a gray fog. On a kitchen page, he left steam as broken contours so the colorist could push warmth.
He publishes process clips under his own name. We do not treat those clips as Marvel promotional film. The credit box still decides who inked the plate.
A spotlight session is the usual way collectors hear him walk a single sequence.
